Important Considerations

You must be an existing Marriott Bonvoy Amex Cardmember of either the Personal or Business Card to refer a friend to either type of Bonvoy Card.

Even if a bonus referral offer is available, the maximum number of Bonvoy points you can earn annually is 150,000. This means you can refer up to 15 friends each year to meet this limit under standard referral offers.

While the referral bonus offers additional points, note that the spending requirement is higher than the standard offer.

Self-referrals to another card are not permitted. For instance, a Bonvoy Personal Cardmember cannot refer themselves for a Business Card. This could result in American Express retracting points and removing you from the referral program.
