These iconic flowerpot-shaped rocks are frequently featured in magazines and travel guides focused on East Coast attractions. Every day, the Bay of Fundy empties over 100 million tons of water, exposing the ocean floor. This presents a unique opportunity to witness the world’s highest tides.

You can stroll along the Bay of Fundy for hours, exploring the massive rock formations revealed by the receding tides. Be sure to check the tidal schedule before your visit. The best time to walk around the rocks is three hours before and after low tide.

We recommend a visit during sunset; after dark, the crowds dissipate, allowing for a more serene exploration of the area.
