One of my absolute favorite spots in Rome is the Pantheon, located near the charming Piazza della Rotunda to its south. No trip to Rome feels complete without visiting this magnificent monument from the first century. The piazza is lined with several outdoor restaurants offering delicious food and stunning views. However, my top recommendation is Armando Al Pantheon, a trattoria just a short stroll from the Pantheon itself. While it doesn’t offer outdoor seating, the cozy, single-room setting of this trattoria exudes warmth and comfort, making it a delightful dining experience.
