Despite a few false alarms, the northern lights show eventually began on 29-09-24.
A faint, fuzzy arc of the northern lights was visible from our first stop as we ventured into the wilderness. At our viewing location, we witnessed the lights brightening, only to see the vibrant streaks fade back into the soft glow. There were several moments that seemed promising, as if the northern lights were about to dazzle us with an incredible display, but they fell short, causing some of our guests to meander back to the warmth of the fire. However, when the final call to step outside was made, the northern lights exploded into a breathtaking spectacle above us. What a sight to behold! So many directions to look, so much beauty to take in—this was an unforgettable experience and a truly magical night.
