Byrd rose to prominence in the Country Music scene back in 1993 with his third single, “Holdin’ Heaven,” from his self-titled debut album released by MCA Records. This chart-topping hit reached #1 on the Billboard Country Charts. The album also featured a popular remake of Johnny Paycheck’s “Someone to Give My Love To,” solidifying Byrd’s reputation as a Traditional Country Troubadour. His debut album achieved Gold certification, marking sales of over 500,000 copies!
