Now Hiring: Flight Award Travel Manager – Part-Time/Full-Time (No Need to Call the Airline!)

Date:

What Are We Looking For?

Our company is in search of a Flight Award Travel Manager, available for either part-time or full-time work. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries;
  • Researching and booking flight awards using frequent flyer miles and credit card points;
  • Completing necessary paperwork, which includes entering data into the GDS (Apollo).

You may also be asked to support tasks outside your primary role, such as assisting with contract processing and onboarding clients.

What Compensation Will You Receive?

You will be paid $CAD 21.50 (approximately $USD 16.31) per hour. We welcome applicants from around the globe.

What Other Benefits Are Available?

If you stay with us for a year or more, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

  • A $CAD 500.00 annual training budget to nurture your passion for the travel industry;
  • Travel industry credentials;
  • An annual flight benefit, covering two international coach tickets or one Business Class ticket each year after your first year;
  • Your pay will be increased at least by the cost-of-living adjustment in your area.

You can work from anywhere, provided you have a phone and an internet connection! We also offer flexible working hours.

What Qualifications Are Required?

  • A strong passion for frequent flyer miles and credit card points (“travel hackers”);
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills;
  • A desire to learn more about the travel industry;
  • Attention to detail, discretion, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

What Additional Skills Are Preferred?

While not mandatory, proficiency in a second language is a significant advantage. Our ability to attract international clients relies on entering unique markets, and additional language skills could lead to higher compensation.

We particularly value fluency in the following languages:

  • Arabic;
  • Mandarin;
  • French;
  • Spanish.

If you travel often, we would love to hear about your favorite experiences—especially those involving points and miles!

If you have prior experience in a travel agency, that’s a big plus. Familiarity with Apollo GDS is beneficial, but any GDS experience is appreciated.

We offer 24/7/365 service, and time zones are not an issue except during training.

How to Apply?

Please submit any materials you would like us to review. If you have questions about the position, feel free to email avery [at] awardtm.com.

For your application, please ensure to include:

  • Your full name;
  • Your contact information;

This information is the minimum required for consideration. If you want to include additional materials, they will also be reviewed (examples include proof of writing skills, examples of trips you’ve booked, or a unique strategy for booking award tickets).
