If there’s one roadside attraction in Texas that’s been at the top of our list to visit, it’s the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas.

As big fans of the iconic French structure, this whimsical replica adorned with a cowboy hat has long been a highlight of our Texas bucket list.

Finally, when our road trip brought us close to this small city in North Texas, we knew it was the perfect opportunity for a detour.

The Texas Eiffel Tower is conveniently located just outside the center of Paris, Texas, adjacent to an easily accessible parking lot.

This parking area also grants access to the Love Civic Center and the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial.

With plenty of free parking available right in front of the tower, the address is 2025 S Collegiate Dr, Paris, TX 75460.

Paris, Texas, is found in the northeast part of the state, less than 20 miles south of the Oklahoma border along US-271.

What’s it like to visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, TX?

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Texas Eiffel Tower!

The tower is easy to locate using GPS, and we parked just steps away from it.

After waiting for a few families to finish their photo sessions, we explored beneath and around the tower, capturing plenty of pictures of our own.

Although the tower wasn’t crowded the day we visited, we were never completely alone.

A constant stream of travelers stopped by, all eager to see the unique replica of the Eiffel Tower with its red cowboy hat.

As one of the many delightful roadside attractions in Texas, the Eiffel Tower is mostly self-sufficient—there are no staff, no tickets required, and no formal organization necessary.

After enjoying our time at the tower, we also took a moment to honor the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial right next door, which is beautifully designed.

All in all, our visit lasted about 15-20 minutes, most of which included stretching our legs after the drive.

The central square features the stunning Culbertson Fountain, which is a sight to behold.

Is it worth visiting the Texas Eiffel Tower?

While I wouldn’t recommend driving across the entire state just for this, it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris, TX, and would happily suggest making a quick stop to anyone traveling through the region.

Is the Texas Eiffel Tower the biggest replica?

Sadly, as much as we would love to believe that everything is larger in Texas, our Eiffel Tower replica is rather petite, standing at just 1/10th the size of the original (although it is built to scale).

There are over 50 Eiffel Tower replicas around the globe, with the tallest one in Tokyo (almost 2,000 feet high, nearly twice the height of the original), and the tallest in the USA being the one in Las Vegas.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris, TX, is the only one featuring a cowboy hat and remains one of the most recognized replicas simply because of its unmistakably Texan flair.
