Join us for the beloved Halloween event in Wichita for 2024! Botanica will once again host the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular on October 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2024.
Over these four days in October, Botanica will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween wonderland, featuring more than 1,000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns, lively music from DJ Carbon, food trucks, cozy fire pits for s’mores, stunning pumpkin sculptures, and so much more!
Children—and those young at heart—are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to kick off the holiday season in style! The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Botanica is the perfect way to usher in fall with fun activities and entertainment for the entire family.
This event promises to be an enjoyable autumn experience—so don’t forget to wear your sweaters, boots, and scarves! According to the Botanica website, there will be timed entry slots available from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on each evening, and the gates will close at 10 p.m.
Activities at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
This family-friendly event caters to all ages, offering a range of activities from light-hearted fun to spooky experiences. The gardens will sparkle with hundreds of creatively carved jack-o-lanterns contributed by local schools and businesses!
Explore the plant graveyard and a giant bug display. Each parent’s discretion is advised in determining what is suitable for their little ones; sensitive or younger children may prefer to avoid the spookier sections, while older kids might find the displays thrilling.
Enjoy music from DJ Carbon at the brand-new Grand Lawn stage near the Carousel Garden, while indulging in local food and drinks from various food trucks on-site.

Admission to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
Admission to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Botanica is only $12 for adult members ($15 for non-members) and $10 for kids. Children aged 2 and under get in for FREE! Be sure to visit their website to purchase tickets in advance. Get your tickets HERE
While on the website, you can also reserve a private golf cart tour during the event! Golf cart tours are available each day of the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular and can be booked in advance by emailing or calling 316.264.0448 ext.113.
