The Combo Tour is an exhilarating experience packed with three unique adventures. As we journey up the mountains toward Poás Volcano, you’ll notice a shift in both temperature and vegetation. Along the way, we will pass vibrant coffee plantations, lush fern beds, colorful flower farms, and delightful strawberry fields, all contributing to a stunning display of colors and textures. Our first stop will be at the Doka Coffee Estate, where we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing our journey.
Next, we will embark on a coffee tour at an actual plantation, where you’ll discover ancient techniques employed by experts to cultivate some of the finest coffee in Costa Rica and beyond. You’ll gain insight into the meticulous processes of growing, harvesting, and roasting the Golden Bean. After a hands-on demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the delightful end product. Following the coffee experience, we will proceed to Poás Volcano, where you can marvel at its majestic main crater, complete with sulfur fumaroles, while learning about the diverse ecosystems within this unique protected national park.
After our visit to the volcano, we will head to the La Paz Waterfall Garden for a delightful lunch and tour. Upon arrival, we’ll take a scenic trail leading to a breathtaking waterfall nestled in the heart of the rainforest. Within the park, you’ll have the chance to explore the hummingbird gallery, serpentarium, bird house, butterfly garden, and frog exhibit—making this a truly enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
