Travel offers us a multitude of experiences, from discovering new destinations to tasting diverse cuisines and meeting fascinating people. However, what I cherish the most are those moments of tranquility where you can pause and soak it all in. Whether it’s enjoying a serene hike or standing on the Antarctic Peninsula surrounded by penguins, these moments allow you to truly appreciate your surroundings. Take the time to observe the local flora, count the playful penguins, or marvel at the unique beauty of each iceberg.
Just before the pandemic hit, I decided to enroll in a 200-hour yoga teacher training program, primarily to deepen my personal practice. Having practiced yoga for over 12 years, it has played a significant role in my life, helping me stay grounded and maintain a positive outlook. By the end of 2020, I had successfully completed the 200-hour training. This achievement has been invaluable, especially during moments when finding hope felt challenging. After spending my first year teaching online voluntarily, I am now thrilled to teach one class per week!
My love for yoga, combined with over 25 years of travel experience, has sparked my interest in ‘Wellness Travel.’ There are numerous fantastic options available, from hiking in lush rainforests to reconnecting with nature, to participating in yoga and meditation retreats, or enjoying culinary and spa getaways. Prioritizing your self-care is essential as we must focus on what brings us joy and fulfillment. The past two years have been emotionally taxing, and I believe it is now time to rebuild ourselves, our lifestyles, and our happiness!
