During our visit to Lake Garda, we spent considerable time in Malcesine, which boasts some of the best beaches in the area. The two beaches worth mentioning are Posternia Beach and Paina Beach.
While you’re in Malcesine, don’t miss the chance to explore Malcesine Castle, and consider taking the cable car up to Monte Baldo for breathtaking views.
Additionally, you should definitely check out Limone sul Garda to visit Spiaggia Tifu beach, and take some time to relax at the beaches in Riva del Garda and Sirmione as well.
Take a Day Trip to Verona, Milan, or Venice
If you’re interested in a day trip outside of Lake Garda, you might want to consider visiting Verona, Milan, or Venice.
Amongst these, Verona is the easiest and quickest destination to reach from Lake Garda, with all locations accessible by train from the Peschiera del Garda train station.
