At The Carlton Inn Bed & Breakfast, breakfast is a highlight, showcasing freshly prepared homemade dishes made with the finest ingredients. Our meals include eggs from our own chickens and, whenever possible, locally sourced foods. The Oregon Wine Country is home to numerous farmers’ markets and honor system farm stands. Our own garden supplies fresh herbs and vegetables that star in our breakfast menu, while Carlton Farms provides breakfast sausage, ham, and bacon. Your hostess also crafts homemade yogurt and granola, with local hazelnuts adding a delightful sweetness.

A Delightful Breakfast and Morning Coffee

Awaken to the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Coffee and tea are offered in the dining room starting at 8:00 AM, with breakfast served at 9:00 AM. Each meal begins with a beautifully arranged plate of fresh fruit or compote, complemented by homemade yogurt and granola. The Blue Atlas Cedar in Carlton’s Ladd Park is over 100 years old.

Ladd Park was designed by Samuel Lancaster, the architect of the Columbia River Highway, and features contributions from Brooks Nursery, making it likely that the Blue Atlas Cedar was part of the original plant selection.
