We will be visiting in December!
Specifically, our group plans to arrive in San Miguel de Allende on December 11 for the annual “Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe” celebration. Additionally, the next day we will explore the local market to buy fresh ingredients, which we will use in an authentic Mexican cooking class.
The trip to San Miguel is one of the Optional Extensions of Kathleen McGowan’s “Mary in the Americas” Retreat, taking place in Mexico from December 6 to 9, 2024.
This will mark Kathleen’s 11th annual Mary Magdalene retreat. As part of the program, she will deliver a unique presentation on how the traditions of Mary Magdalene made their way to Mexico and their connection to the story of the Madonna of Guadalupe.
The main venue for the “Mary in the Americas” retreat will be in Mexico City, and spots are still available. We hope you can join us!
