Beaumont, Texas is a remarkable destination located near the Louisiana border. It offers a plethora of outdoor activities, a rich history tied to the oil industry, world-class museums, and some of the finest restaurants. Here are some of the most popular dining spots in the area.

Each of these venues provides great food and an enjoyable atmosphere. Most are situated in or close to downtown Beaumont, making them easy to access during your visit.

Below are the restaurants I have personally experienced and thoroughly enjoyed, as well as a couple that I plan to try on my next visit!

While the name suggests pizza and pasta, the menu at New York Pizza & Pasta encompasses much more. Whether you’re craving fried calamari, Mediterranean salads, ribeye steak, salmon fillets, or shrimp Modo Mio, you’ll find gourmet Italian dishes to satisfy your taste buds.

They take pride in their Old-World cooking style, ensuring that each dining experience is leisurely and of high quality.

Rao’s Bakery

Rao’s Bakery offers the delightful taste of Italy in Beaumont, Texas. They are well-known for their Mardi Gras King Cakes, which are shipped across the United States.

Rao’s was also the first bakery in Texas to produce and sell Gelato, the Italian style ice cream. This is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as well as enjoying a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
